Minn. ‘Protesters’ Try to Take On Border Patrol, Learn Real Fast It’s A Bad Idea

What Democrats and the radical Left have done by relentlessly demonizing ICE and federal immigration agents isn’t just irresponsible — it’s dangerous. Their nonstop rhetoric has fueled real-world violence and helped create an environment where attacks on agents are almost expected. That cultural war on law enforcement has concrete consequences: agents are assaulted, federal facilities are targeted, and now a tragic death has occurred. This isn’t abstract political debate — reckless anti-law-enforcement posturing has real victims, and it’s past time the Left be held accountable for the climate they’ve helped unleash.

And it didn’t stop there. In Minnesota on Friday, activists were right back at it, deliberately trying to interfere with and insert themselves into active law-enforcement operations—this time targeting Border Patrol agents. Footage from Fox News’ Matt Finn makes it crystal clear what agents are forced to deal with on a regular basis. While officers were simply doing their jobs, one woman pushed herself into the situation, loudly protesting about medical care for a detainee, as if she were in charge.

Meanwhile, others blew whistles to alert the crowd that immigration agents were present, effectively trying to obstruct enforcement.

Then there was another woman yelling “ICE is here,” and what did the Border Patrol agent do first? Warn her not to slip on the ice — even in the middle of an attempted disruption. Meanwhile, the agent Finn rode with reported that they were being trailed by two cars during the operation, and he made clear that those drivers were being given warnings about possible arrest if they didn’t back off.

It’s definitely worrying when other agents have been hit or attacked in various ways. Here’s another encounter Finn got on video:

Next, this was quite something with this entitled person thinking that she is in the right. An agent gives her fair warning not to continue. He’s giving her good advice. She smirks, “I think I’m making exactly the right decision.” She wishes him a terrible day after he wishes her a good day.

At one point, a man filming from the sidelines actually claimed that stopping his car was “unconstitutional.” Let’s be clear: if you interfere with an active law-enforcement operation, officers have every right to stop you — and arrest you. This really isn’t complicated, no matter how much activists pretend otherwise.

But the situation escalated even further. Afterward, it was reported that a woman struck one of the Border Patrol SUVs and another individual spat on the vehicle. That crossed the line from harassment to outright criminal behavior, and rightly so. Both the woman and a man were taken into custody:

The woman continued to struggle, yelling “Stop touching me!” as if being arrested somehow comes with a no-contact policy. The man then tried to interfere, and that stunt ended exactly how anyone with common sense would expect — he was taken down. If law enforcement is arresting you, they’re going to touch you. Resisting only makes things worse, and she learned that lesson the hard way.

What’s desperately needed is for Democrats to tell people to knock it off and stand down. Instead, they’re doing the opposite — pouring gasoline on the fire with reckless rhetoric that encourages confrontation. And if they keep pushing this narrative, they’re going to keep finding out just how unwise that strategy really is.
