Russian intelligence gathered damaging information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clintonâs health during her 2016 presidential campaign, including evidence that she had âpsycho-emotional problemsâ that were being treated with severe sedatives, but Vladimir Putin chose not to release it before the election because he believed the Democrat would win.
The startling facts were contained in a House Intelligence Committee report on Russiaâs impact on the 2016 election, which was declassified and made public by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday.
The SVR, Russiaâs foreign intelligence service, âpossessed DNC communications that Clinton was suffering from âintensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness,’â according to the report, which the committee based on 20 interviews with intelligence officers and FBI agents, as well as a review of source material for the 2017 Obama-ordered report on Russian election meddling.
âClinton was placed on a daily regimen of âheavy tranquilizers,â and while afraid of losing, she remained âobsessed with a thirst for power.ââ
By September 2016, some of the exchanges revealed that then-President Barack Obama and Democratic party leaders deemed Clintonâs health âextraordinarily alarmingâ and worried that it would have a âserious negative impactâ on her chances to defeat Trump that November.
Clinton, 77, was reportedly suffering from âType 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseaseâ at the time.
Clinton advisers guarded a full picture of the former first ladyâs condition with the âstrictest secrecy.â
The SVR also âpossessed a campaign email discussing a plan approved by Secretary Clinton to link Putin and Russian hackers to candidate Trump in order to âdistract the [American] publicâ from the Clinton email server scandal.â
On Thursday, Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) echoed Gabbardâs accusation that Hillary Clinton was taking tranquilizers while in office.
Gabbard had given a long remark on previously disclosed papers during a White House press briefing the day before. These documents, she said, proved that former President Barack Obamaâs government was orchestrating a âcoupâ against then-President-elect Donald Trump. Gabbard accused the Obama administration of pushing the idea that Russia and Trump collaborated to influence the 2016 election.
The director also suggested that Russia had damaging material against Clinton but had chosen not to reveal it. This included alleged proof that Clinton suffered from âpsychoemotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.â
According to Gabbard, Clinton was âon a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizersâ to address these concerns.
During a discussion about the Trump administrationâs investigation into the Obama administration, Marshall repeated the tranquilizer theory and accused Clinton of âcraving for all the power she can get.â
âLook, hereâs the truth. Yes, look at the evidence. Hereâs a report from the Oval Office. Barack Obama is given a report from the intelligence agency saying that Russia had minimal impact on the election, and Barack says, âOh no, letâs change that narrative,â Marshall said.
âLetâs go out there and delegitimize the election and tell the American people that Russia interfered with the election.â Otherwise, how in the world could Hillary Clinton be beaten? Never mind that she was on tranquilizers at the time and to her witsâ end, and was craving for all the power she can get,â Marshall added.
The U.S. Department of Justice has formed a âstrike forceâ to investigate the evidence made public by Gabbard regarding Obama and his top national security and intelligence officialsâ alleged involvement in the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday evening the formation of a âstrike forceâ to investigate potential next legal steps resulting from Gabbardâs recent declassification of records indicating that Obama administration officials âmanufacturedâ intelligence to create the narrative that then-candidate Donald Trump was colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.
A source close to the strike squad told Fox News Digital that everything is being assessed and that no major leads are off the table. The Justice Departmentâs National Security Division would âlikely be involved in the investigation.â
According to Justice Department officials, the DOJ regards the alleged weaponization of the intelligence community âwith the utmost seriousness.â
