Kurt Vogel Russell is a prominent American actor who began his career at the age of twelve with his first appearance in a western television series. His performance in Mike Nichols’ film Silkwood earned him a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1983.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Russell is the son of Bing Russell, an artist, and Louise Julia Russell, a ballerina. Reports from The Globe indicate that Kurt Russell is suffering from a severe flesh-eating disease.
The 65-year-old actor, known for his role in Hateful Eight, is said to have developed unsightly ulcers beneath his lower lip, attributed to Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome (PJS), a condition associated with an increased risk of colon cancer.
As noted by Net, individuals with PJS may face a lifetime cancer risk of up to 93%. Dr. Stuart Fischer, who does not provide treatment to Kurt, characterized the ulcers as “precancerous lesions that can become aggressive and pose significant health risks if not addressed promptly and appropriately.”
