A viral video has surfaced of Cameron Brink (in heels) towering over Hailey Van Lith following Sunday’s contest between the Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky.

Cameron Brink has yet to play this season as she recovers from surgery on a torn ACL that cut her rookie year short. Brink played 15 games before suffering the injury, averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Brink cheered on her teammates from the sideline at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, with the struggling Sparks falling 92-85 to Hailey Van Lith and the visitors. Angel Reese led the way with 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists as Chicago improved to 5-11 on the season.

After the game, a video surfaced of multiple Sparks and Sky players embracing and talking at midcourt. The 6-foot-4 Cameron Brink, who has seven inches of height on the 5-foot-9 Van Lith, looked like a giant beside the Chicago rookie with heels on:

While Brink anxiously awaits medical clearance to return to the court, Van Lith has been used in a bench role as a rookie. She’s averaging just under 14 minutes of action per game, averaging 4.6 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest.

The Sky will return to the court on Sunday for a road tilt against the Minnesota Lynx, while the Sparks will aim to pull off the upset against the New York Liberty on Thursday.

Heading into Thursday’s slate of games, only two teams have a worse record than the 5-12 Sparks; the 5-13 Dallas Wings and the 2-15 Connecticut Sun. Los Angeles is 3.5 games behind Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever for the final playoff spot, but they also must leapfrog the Sky (5-11) and Washington Mystics (8-9).
