Fox’s Doocy Asks Karoline Leavitt Why Trump Called Taylor Swift ‘No Longer Hot’

President Donald Trump’s high-stakes phone call with Russia’s Vladimir Putin was a major focus of Monday’s White House press briefing. But Trump’s burgeoning feud with another one of the world’s most influential people was a hot topic as well.
In a post on Truth Social early Friday, the president took a pointed jab at pop megastar Taylor Swift.
“Has anyone noticed that,” he said, “since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”
During Monday’s press briefing, Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy wanted some clarification from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
“What does President Trump mean when he says that Taylor Swift is ‘no longer hot?’” Doocy asked.
The question from the Fox News correspondent drew laughter from the reporters in the briefing room, and from
“He is speaking about Taylor Swift’s political views and how perhaps it has impacted the support of the American public for her work,” Leavitt said. “And I will leave it at that.”
