A social media detective believes he uncovered something concerning about the health of Chicago Sky star Angel Reese during the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game.
Appearing in her second straight WNBA All-Star Game, Angel Reese helped Team Collier (captained by Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier) to a 151-131 blowout victory over Team Clark, though Caitlin Clark missed the contest with a groin injury.
In 17 minutes of playing time, Reese recorded six points, nine rebounds, two assists and one steal. One of Reese’s baskets was this easy lay-in late in the first quarter:
As many fans know, Angel Reese had a rod inserted in the left leg after suffering a Jones fracture during her freshman season. Though it’s been more than four years since the surgery, one fan expressed concern that the left leg is still bothering her.
The fan cited how Reese came down after the easy basket, expressing concern that the rod is preventing her from being more athletic. You can watch the video below, but be warned it contains language that is NSFW):
Reese suffered a wrist injury that required season-ending surgery last year. She briefly set the single-season WNBA rebound record (446), but A’Ja Wilson went on to set the new record with 551. Obviously, things would have been different if Reese got to finish her rookie year.
