Cameras caught a frustrated Indiana Fever fan instructing Caitlin Clark to get back on defense after missing a shot in Friday night’s game against the Atlanta Dream.

Caitlin Clark and the struggling Fever overcame a sluggish first half and cruised to a 99-82 blowout victory over the Dream at home, getting back to the .500 mark (10-10) in the process.

It wasn’t her best individual performance by any means, of course. Clark was 5-of-17 from the field and 1-of-7 from beyond the arc. She did just enough to help her team, however, with 12 points, nine assists and four rebounds in the victory.

Clark was visibly frustrated throughout the contest, and it boiled over after missing a three-point attempt early in the third quarter. Instead of getting back on defense, however, Clark punched the air in a fit of rage.

This was only Clark’s second game back from injury after missing five contests with a groin issue, so rust is natural. She had an off game in Wednesday’s loss to Golden State Valkyries, too, shooting just 4-of-12 from the field in an 80-61 loss.

Clark also missed five games earlier in the season with a groin injury. Now at 10-10, Indiana is tied with the Washington Mystics for the final playoff spot.

Clark and the Fever will try to stay on the winning track when they host the Dallas Wings on Sunday. At 6-15, Dallas is only ahead of the 3-16 Connecticut Sun in the league standings, so it’s the ideal opportunity for Indiana to gain ground on the teams ahead of them.
