GOP’s Schmitt Gives Update On Probe Into Biden Autopen Scandal

The autopen scandal involving former President Joe Biden is far from resolved, and Missouri Republican Senator Eric Schmitt has made a new request aimed at uncovering the truth, outlining his plans during an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham this week.

“Well, we’ve all seen the videotape, we can rack it up, of Biden, you know, struggling to get off a stage, freezing, it would seem, as other people are moving, you know, falling up the stairs. I mean, people slip, I get that, it’s not the end of the world, but there are just too many instances. And then, of course, the disastrous debate,” the host said.

“And then we find out somebody was running the autopen. And we don’t have, we don’t have any definitive answers on that,” she said.

“Right, and I, yeah, I was going to say, the committee, the subcommittee that I’m chairing on the Judiciary Committee, we have now sent a special access request to the archivist to make sure there was a paper trail. There should be authorization for each time that autopen is utilized. We’re going to find out who was actually doing that, who was actually in charge,” the senator responded.

“And never forget, Laura, I was at that first debate in the spin room. We were all watching this thing unfold in real time. The Democrats actually wanted the American people to believe that not only was Joe Biden competent to finish his term, but that he could have another four years, right? Sen. Schmitt said.

“And only, you know, when that debate performance was on full display, did they sort of circle the wagons and install in a coup Kamala Harris. But they were willing to go along with this because of Trump derangement syndrome, because they were so obsessed with holding on to power. The American people deserve more than that. That can’t happen. The American people deserve answers of who is actually part of this cover up in this conspiracy to hide this from the American people,” he said.
